Brooch Wedding Bouquet

With the rising presence of brooches on the runway this fall season, they are becoming increasingly popular as part of bridal bouquets as well. Brooch bouquets can be a beautiful alternative to the traditional flower bouquet... when they are done right. I love this idea since you can incorporate family brooches (yours and his) into your bouquet.

I am a huge fan of fresh flowers and I firmly believe that every wedding needs something lovely and fragrant to set the mood for the ceremony and reception. But at the same time brides need to explore ways to reduce their carbon footprint when it comes to the Big Day. In addition to being distinctively fun and sparkly, there are many advantages of going with a brooch bouquet.  Following the wedding, the bouquet can be carefully disassembled and provide meaningful keepsakes or itself could find a place in your home which you can appreciate down the road. It is also a great alternative if you are allergic to flowers!

The Garden Theme Wedding

Wedding Inspiration: Garden Flowers

These photos are from a wedding ceremony that took place at the Westminster Church in the North West and the reception was at the Greenwood Inn.

The church altar had two beautiful flower arrangements and the aisle was lined with fresh flower pews in mason jars that were hanging from Shepherds hooks.

The reception room and the backdrop were washed in LED lights that were in the tones of Green and Pink. The dance floor was covered with hanging paper lanterns and tissue paper pom poms.

Alberta Event Deco provided the candy station for the reception.
